The Engagement Specialist joins the WellBe team’s efforts in acquiring new patients and helping our patients to lead a more meaningful life. This unique role provides the opportunity to directly contribute to WellBe’s growth as well as improve our ability to help people receive WellBe’s life-changing care.   We need you to be an expert at communication and building relationships in order to engage patients and schedule in-home visits from WellBe. A normal ‘day in the life’ consists of conducting outbound calls to prospective patients to schedule in-home comprehensive wellness visits and health risk assessments. The Engagement Specialist connects with potential new patients, provides answers to their questions, and supports our in-home care team to engage patients in their health. The Engagement Specialist is truly the first point of contact for a patient and will be responsible for introducing the patient to WellBe and all the great benefits they qualify for. The Engagement Specialist oversees the monitoring and measuring of call outcomes and works with the engagement team to maximize our ability to enroll new patients.   Engagement is the starting point for WellBe to support people who are in need, and this role is a critical part of our commitment to our patients. Our Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) are part of a team that provides compassionate care to the frailest elderly who suffer from chronic and acute illnesses or injuries living in their homes.  Our PCC is responsible for answering incoming and making outgoing calls, helping coordinate care with the rest of the medical team, scheduling patient appointments with our team, specialist appointments and coordinating diagnostic tests, being a community resource, working to engage patients that currently are not engaged, and contributing complete and accurate data in patient's records. The successful candidate will love working with seniors and a collaborative interdisciplinary team. You will be expected to leverage your transformational change expertise to help identify opportunities to minimize defects and improve process outcomes, while demonstrating an ability to produce executive level deliverables and solid judgement when solving problems.   Some of your work products will include financial analyses, process performance reports, process flows, group meeting facilitation, and interdepartmental relationship development. In this role, you will be responsible for developing actuarial financial reports, eligibility and claims analyses, utilizing IBNR assumptions, utilization reporting, revenue analysis and forecasting, coding for data processing, and any other ad-hoc analyses. We have a robust growth pipeline that requires a skilled individual to oversee all actuarial tasks needed to evaluate potential partnerships. This position would be the first actuarial resource solely dedicated to new business development. The work includes, for example, reviewing data quality, meeting with Medicare plans, developing opportunity analyses aligned with the goals of potential plan partners, and streamlining the process for future plan evaluations to shorten our sales cycle.
