WellBe Senior Medical is a physician-led, risk-bearing healthcare organization delivering high-quality in-home care to frail, elderly Medicare Advantage patients. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will support the growth of our actuarial function by evaluating, modeling, and valuing new business opportunities, providing insights that directly influence strategic expansion and value-based contracting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
Experience:
Passed at least 2 actuarial exams and pursuing actuarial credentials
Minimum 1 actuarial internship or 1 year of actuarial experience; 1–3 years preferred
Skills:
Analytical and detail-oriented
Collaborative and team-oriented
Strong interest in mastering complex actuarial concepts
Persistent, disciplined, and able to communicate clearly
Proficiency or willingness to learn Excel, SQL, and Python
Certifications/Licenses:
None beyond actuarial exams
Physical and Mental Requirements
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
Ability to stand/sit for extended periods
Visual acuity and fine motor skills
Travel locally or nationally up to 10%
Work Environment
In-person at Chicago office, with remote work options for eligible employees
May require travel to patient locations as needed
