Job Summary

Responsible for the development and leadership of the engagement process from awareness to capture.  This role is designed to lead a Center of Excellence focused on designing best and next practices relative to patient engagement.  This includes patient marketing,  inbound/outbound call center, market and community based engagement.  As an inspirational and collaborative leader, the SVP, Engagement will consistently strive to bring out the best from a direct and indirect reporting team. 

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leading internal strategy on engagement across all channels
  • Identify best practices and drive innovation sprints
  • Own current state engagement map and analysis of current state processes and outcomes
  • Ongoing tracing of root cause opportunities, develop recommendations, execution plans, monitoring of initiatives and strategies
  • Design and support analytics team in evaluation and efficacy measurement strategies
  • Work closely with operations and clinical teams to drive effectiveness
  • Lead the development of playbooks – e.g. multi-modal coordination, CRM use, measurement strategies, call center strategies including use of AI and ongoing innovation on these fronts
  • Apply all engagement strategies through a lens of ‘Patients First’
  • Set engagement culture
  • Advocating and implementing continuous improvement and simplification initiatives for strategy in order to improve the overall internal and external experience
  • Contributing to a high performing team by surpassing goals, fostering relationships, and driving provider engagement for the organization
  • Serve as leader, manager, and mentor to any future direct reports
  • Completing other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education: Advanced degree in relevant field required (Master or PhD in Public Health preferred)


Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in value based health care; Knowledge of different value-based care models, required; Knowledge of Medicare Advantage required; Experience in Analytics delivery required; Knowledge of different reimbursement methodologies required; Knowledge of health plan and provider operations, required

Skills: Must have great interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and excellent verbal and written communication; Experience in directly leading engagement strategy; Experience in presenting to executives, healthcare administrators, providers, and external stakeholders; Proven ability to establish and maintain durable and complex strategic relationships internally and externally; Experience working in an autonomous environment with a demonstrated ability to organize, take initiative, lead, and follow-up with minimal supervision; Ability to think, work independently, and make decisions, while adhering to company standards and guidelines; Experience in building and implementing from the ground up; Experience in complex evaluation and analyses; Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic growth environment with conflicting priorities while being persistent in accomplishing goals and self-motivated

Physical and Mental Requirements 

- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. 

- Ability to stand/sit for extended periods. 

- Visual acuity and fine motor skills. 

- Ability to travel to locations as needed.

Travel: up to 50% required

Work Environment: Hybrid

Pay Range:

$228,000-$342,000

Bonus: 30%

Compensation for this position will be disclosed in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws.

As a condition of employment, WellBe Senior Medical requires all candidates to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
