Job Summary

WELLBE INTRODUCTION

The WellBe care model is a Physician Led Advanced Geriatric Care Program focused on the quality of care of the frail, poly-chronic, and elderly Medicare Advantage patients.  This population is typically underserved and very challenged with access to overall health care.   To address these problems, we have elected to bring the care to the patient, instead of trying to bring the patient to the care.  WellBe’s Care Model is to provide our members the entire continuum of care from chronic to urgent care in the home, hospital, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, palliative care, and to end of life care.  WellBe's physician/advanced practicing clinician led geriatric care teams’ partner with the patient’s primary care physician to provide concierge level geriatric medical care and social support in the home as well as delivering and coordinating across the entire care continuum.

Job Description

The Sr. Solution Developer, driven by a passion for technology and collaborative problem-solving, will assist in bridging the gap between operations and IT, translating business needs into agile application development solutions. Leveraging WellBe's approved no-code/low-code (NCLC) and business process automation (BPA) toolsets, this role will initiate the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions that optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency. The Sr. Solution Developer will serve as a subject matter expert, when developing solutions to optimize utilization of NCLC and BPA technologies to empower business units with great agility and flexibility. The ability to communicate effectively, solve problems creatively, and think critically within a dynamic system environment is essential. The role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Operational Leads, Clinical Workforce, IT leadership, and WellBe employees at all levels. Experience in healthcare or clinical practice settings is highly preferred, along with proficiency in NCLC tools, cloud technologies, and BPA tools. Expertise in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite is required. The Sr. Solution Developer will also play a key role in identifying and analyzing business processes, collaborating with IT and data analysts to provide data-driven recommendations for developing and enhancing internal solutions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and support scalable software solutions primarily using no-code/low-code platforms and business process automation tools.
  • Understand and coordinate with IT when pro-code solutions are necessary or needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with clinical teams, operational staff, and IT/Data teams to gather requirements, translate them into functional solutions, and ensure successful development.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with IT/Data Analytics regarding existing APIs and data sources, including our custom EHR, data warehouse, and CRM, to enable secure and efficient data exchange.
  • Provide internal consulting data requirements and connections within the no-code/low-code tool stack to facilitate secure and efficient data flow.
  • Monitor application performance and collaborate with IT to address any performance bottlenecks or technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team and stakeholders to understand the customer, business, and market needs.
  • Ensure internal application alignment with product portfolio vision, portfolio roadmap & integration, and stability across verticals and products.
  • Identify and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and other methods of gathering information.
  • Make business decisions and clearly communicate requirements with WellBe product teams through epics and stories so that they are understood.
  • Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flow diagrams,and other needs for internal consumption.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, Data Analytics, and Operations, to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Develop actionable solutions based on process flows and BPMN 2.0 diagramming.
  • Evaluate and invent new feature ideas.
  • Spend time in the market to understand opportunities or issues, and find innovative solutions.
  • Represent, interface with, and engage with business users to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and privacy regulations (HIPAA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Requirements

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or university program certificate or equivalent; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Solution Developer
  • 5+ years in developing and implementing internal applications using enterprise data systems
  • 3+ years experience working in a agile software development team
  • 2+ years leadership experience coaching and mentoring on best practices, and directing activities of Jr team members
