Job Summary

WELLBE INTRODUCTION

The WellBe care model is a Physician Led Advanced Practice clinician driven geriatric care (care of older adults) team focused on the care of the frail, poly-chronic, elderly Medicare Advantage patients.  This population is typically underserved and very challenged with access to care.   To address these problems, we have elected to bring the care to the patient, instead of trying to bring the patient to the care. Care is provided throughout the entire continuum of care – from chronic care and urgent care in the home, to hospital, to skilled nursing facility, to assisted living, to palliative care, to end of life care.  WellBe's physician/advanced practicing clinician led geriatric care teams’ partner with the patient’s primary care physician to provide concierge level geriatric medical care and social support in the home as well as delivering and coordinating across the entire care continuum.

 

GENERAL SUMMARY

This senior role will be responsible for leading complex analytic projects through stakeholder collaboration with clinical and operational leaders.  The ideal candidate will have a solid working knowledge of provider group day to day business operations as well as understand how to effectively communicate opportunities to business leaders. Ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience working with complex data sets, applying advanced statistical analysis, and presenting opportunities to business executives.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Proficiency in utilizing statistical methods and data analysis techniques to extract insights from healthcare data.
  • Ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within complex datasets to inform decision-making processes.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms relevant to healthcare analytics.
  • Capability to develop and maintain predictive models to forecast patient outcomes and healthcare resource utilization.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for implementing algorithms and conducting statistical analysis.

  • Strong research skills to stay updated on industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies in healthcare analytics.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development through participation in conferences, webinars, and training programs.
  • Ability to critically evaluate and apply insights from research literature to enhance analytical strategies and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing analytical findings, methodology, and recommendations.
  • Experience in crafting visually appealing and engaging presentations using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  • Capability to tailor communication strategies to effectively convey analytical insights to diverse stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced analytical tools and software platforms for healthcare data analysis, such as SAS, SPSS, or SQL.
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining analytics platforms and infrastructure to support data processing and analysis workflows.
  • Capability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize analytical processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Leadership ability to lead and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Experience in providing guidance, support, and feedback to junior team members to help them develop their analytical skills and expertise.

Educational/ Requirements:

  • Bachelors required / Masters preferred

Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibilities.

 

Travel requirements: Travel may be required up to 10% locally or nationally

 

Work Conditions: Ability to lift up to 20lbs.  Moving lifting or transferring of patients may involve lifting of up to 50lbs as well as assist with weights of more than 100lbs.
